Nestled on the grounds of the historic American Shakespeare Theater in Stratford, with stunning views overlooking Long Island Sound, this festival is an annual tradition you don't want to miss. Featuring 50+ breweries, wineries, cideries, and distilleries showcasing their finest libations alongside live music, local food trucks, vendors, and a plethora of games and activities, it's a day packed with fun and flavor. What sets us apart? The Stratford Old-Timers Athletic Association proudly goes the extra mile by purchasing all the beer for the festival from attending brewers. Plus, a portion of every ticket sold goes towards athletic scholarships for Stratford students, making every sip count towards a brighter future.

WHAT DOES MY TICKET INCLUDE? General Admission tickets are $49+ fee in advance ($59+fee day of the event, subject to availability) and include entry to the beer festival, beer samples, live music and a commemorative tasting glass. Shakesbeer Festival a private, ticketed, 21+ event. No one without a ticket or under the legal age will be admitted, including minors, children, infants and babies. No dogs allowed in the festival.

PARKING: Limited parking is available directly on-site and the surrounding lots on a first-come, first-served basis (map).

TRANSPORTATION: We ask that you please prepare accordingly and enjoy the beer fest safely by designating a driver, using ride-shares, or calling a taxi in advance. Designated Driver tickets are also available for $15+ fee. These tickets are for entry into the fest only and do not include beer or other alcoholic beverage samples. Please drink responsibly.

ShakesBeer Fest is held rain or shine. However, there is always the potential for extreme or severe winter weather conditions. Event organizers will do as much as we can to ensure the experience is as safe as possible. In the event of severe weather, the event may be delayed as officials consult public safety officers. If there is more than a short delay, if conditions persist, or the forecast calls for extreme weather, we reserve the right to alter or cancel the event. We do not schedule “rain dates”. Any decision to cancel an event is done as an absolute last resort and is made collectively with local risk management, police, fire & rescue, and medical personnel as appropriate. In such situations, there will be NO REFUNDS as registrants accept any such risk of their entry free when purchasing tickets. Please check the website, our Facebook page, and your email before the festival for any changes or cancellations.
