The most anticipated CT Beer Industry event of the year returns to Smokedown Farm, a 9-acre hop farm on Sharon Mountain in Northwest Connecticut. We'll provide refreshments and give you a tour of the hop farms operations. Connecticut beer lovers want to support local, and they want you to support local too! This event aims to introduce you to locally grown CT hops and the people who grow them. We love supporting local businesses and enjoying a well-made beer with local hops. We personally guarantee that your customers will feel the same. Smokedown's mission is to bring the best quality Connecticut hops to the finest breweries in New England. Currently, they offer multiple hop varieties grown in some of the richest soils in Connecticut, resulting in unique hop characteristics unrivaled on the East Coast.

So, plan to kick back and relax at the farm, take private tours of the hop yard, network with your colleagues, and savor the unique pub food provided by Executive Chef Paul Pearson at the White Hart Inn, including fish and chips and sausage rolls and pork pies. Just bring your own beer (BYOB) and folding chairs if you have them. We'll take care of the rest.

Admission is FREE for breweries and their employees and limited to up to 4 Team Members per brewery. All guests must RSVP in advance on this website. No walk-ins.

2023 Fresh Hop Pellets will be available for purchase on-site. Smokedown accepts cash or credit cards. There's no obligation to buy in order to attend this event.

We hope to see you there!
